Pride 2021: Volunteers begin installing an annual glowing pink triangle in San Francisco

On Saturday, volunteers began installing the annual pink triangle on the Twin Peaks of San Francisco.

When it’s done, the triangle will stretch over 200 feet and light up the city for the entire month of Pride.

The pink triangle was once used by the Nazis to track homosexuals in concentration camps.

It is now a symbol of Gay Pride.

San Francisco has presented the pink triangle for 26 years.

It is illuminated from dusk on June 1st to sunrise on July 1st.
