A submarine used in World War II has its home in San Francisco Bay.

The USS Pampanito, a floating museum and national historic landmark, is currently moored at Pier 45 at Fisherman’s Wharf.

The ship was in dry dock and received badly needed repairs due to damage from storms in January.

Some conservation work was also carried out on the USS Pampanito.

Crew members said it was an honor to work on the historic submarine.

No word as to when the museum will be open to the public again.
