Delivery driver attacked in San Francisco

A delivery driver was attacked on his route in San Francisco.

San Francisco police are investigating an attempted robbery after two men attacked a UPS driver.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Thursday near Gough and Haight Streets.

A viewer video received from KTVU shows a man trying to steal a package from a 40-year-old delivery man in the middle of a street.

When the driver tries to get the box back, his attacker runs away and tries to jump into a waiting getaway car. Karma seems to come back quickly when the attacker is caught in the getaway car. But the suspect still manages to escape from the scene when the getaway driver stops to let the man in.

The UPS driver was able to collect the package but sustained some injuries. He is expected to be fine.
