The producers of “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” are having a hard time. Creating a new show every day of the week that not only improves current humor but also production value is a real challenge, especially with long distance movies due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, you should still be able to identify San Francisco’s most notable landmark.

Last night’s episode, The Daily Show posted a few images representing California during an introduction to a segment about Governor Gavin Newsom’s recall.

“The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” incorrectly describes a photo of the Bay Bridge as the Golden Gate Bridge.

“California, home to national treasures like Yosemite, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Hype House,” Noah said before a punch line about Newsom, which uses Gorilla Glue as a hairspray.

Pictures flash by, like in late night shows. If you blinked, you’d probably miss it, but San Francisco sports writer Ben Ross had both eyes open. In a tweet, he noted that the producers weren’t showing a photo of the Golden Gate Bridge, but the Bay Bridge, which was tinted in orange light.

I’m sorry which bridge @TheDailyShow?

The segment continues to impale Newsom for its French laundry meal and analyze Caitlyn Jenner’s chances on the recall. Noah also notes how easy it is to run for governor in the recall election, with only a $ 3,916.12 entry fee and 65 signatures required, comparing the relatively low barrier to entry to the higher burden legislators recently put on Georgians have imposed on them to be able to vote in elections.
