Unfortunately, the devastating effects of Covid-19 also hit this community disproportionately. All the more reason to seek, support and celebrate our city’s Latino-run businesses. Here is a selection of pre-eminent locations in the art, fashion, and food worlds run by Latino owners. But that just scratches the surface. Would you like to get involved even more? Visit Acción Latina, the women’s refuge, Somos Familia, the Centro Legal De La Raza and Calle 24, among others.
