A 40-year-old man from South San Francisco was arrested Monday as a suspect in November of stealing more than $ 21,000 worth of auto parts, South San Francisco police said.
A trailer break-in and theft of a commercial establishment on Block 400 on Forbes Boulevard was reported on November 29th.
The company’s surveillance video recorded a vehicle description and partial license plate number of the suspicious vehicle, which prompted detectives to identify Federico Flores-Ortega of South San Francisco as a potential suspect.
The detectives located Flores-Ortega and the suspected vehicle concerned on Monday and, during further investigations, located the location where the stolen items were stored.
Detectives believe most when all stolen property has not been recovered and returned to its owner.
The police are now trying to identify other people who were involved in the break-in.
